Product Overview

Dimensions: The leather is .25" lower on the bottom, ¼" higher on the top and ¼" wider on the side than the 5.25" x 8.25" Moleskine. Pens and pencils stay put. Sturdy double zero continuous filament Polyester marine grade industrial thread. Hypoallergenic 4-5 oz. (2.0 - 2.2 mm) thick chrome tanned leather. Boots are normally made of 1.8mm - 2.0mm thick leather. And, our leather isn't "buttery soft" (fibers separated and broken down by hours of tumbling and stretching at the tannery). It's your job to tenderize it with use. High tensile strength pigskin is second only to kangaroo as the strongest skin in the world.
