The number of stitches per linear inch, the thickness of thread for aesthetics, the thickness of leather, the slippage of the lining, the radius of the corners, the dimensions to make it most useful, number of pockets, positioning of pockets to keep balance when full, where to stitch, where not to. A lot of thought went into these designs to make them the way they are. They were extensively used by myself, my wife and a friend or two and then evaluated. A small herd of cattle and a couple thousand hours later and here's the Travel Case. I set out to make a great toiletry bag, but ended up using it for my tools, then my hot wife commandeered the small one for her makeup.
